BPC-157 (Body Protection Compound-157) is a stable gastric pentadecapeptide that has been investigated extensively in preclinical models for its role in tissue repair and angiogenesis. The literature reports effects on tendon, ligament, and intestinal tissue, and on the integrity of the gut lining. Research interest centers on its apparent stability across a range of conditions and its proposed interaction with the nitric oxide system.

Store lyophilized vials at −20°C, protected from light. Short-term storage at 2–8°C is acceptable prior to reconstitution. Avoid repeated temperature cycling of sealed vials. Reconstituted solutions should be kept refrigerated at 2–8°C.

For research preparations, reconstitute with bacteriostatic water introduced gently along the vial wall. Allow the lyophilized powder to dissolve fully before handling rather than agitating the vial. All handling guidance is provided for laboratory research contexts only.
